Well, I haven't had any time to create lately. I've even put a blanket I was working to finish on the back burner. Baby is coming by C section on Wednesday. I will need to finish that this weekend.
Work, school, lia sophia, Etsy, home maintenance, family, friends and all the rest of life has kinda caught up to me in a mess of fury leaving me no time to destress. This weekend I'm going to take care of all the little things that are driving me NUTS. Hopefully this will ease some of the stresses.
I'm also freaking out because I'm praying I'm pregnant. However, tests are negative but it's still very early. I'm going to stop testing until my actual period due date of Monday. I figure by then tests will show what's up for realz. Till then I can't believe them anyways so why even test? Besides, it's adding to my stress levels. I feel like I could be pregnant but I also am starting to show signs of getting my period. I can't tell what's stress related and what's not. See...if only I had my knitting I'd feel much better. I plan to make time for it this weekend.

All Work and No Play!
School is insane right now. I'm taking a 2 week statistics course and the concensous from people I tell is "well, that was retarded!" Good to know...too late it's a week into the two weeks and I'm stuck.
All this school work (from the time I get home from work until I go to bed pretty much) has really cut into my time to knit. I have a baby blanket to get done in the next two weeks and I'd love to get a couple more scarves out on my etsy site before winter ends. I have enough yarn for more than a few and I'd like to use up some inventory before going to buy some more. I'd love to get some more yarn for some awesome projects in my head but I can't cost justify it, especially with nothing in my shop really selling right now. I did make some business cards up. Hopefully posting those here and there will promote the shop locally at least. I also went against my better judgement and purchased a showcase spot under clothing items. No sales and not even a lot of looks. Bummer.
Oh well! Time to cheer up and keep on keeping on! Hopefully after this week I'll have some more time to knit and be happy!

Bamboozled Scarf
I made this scarf over Christmas but was debating on keeping it or not. This scarf has many colors and almost looks like a calico cat! Brown, black, cream, grey, and tan are the most predominant colors in this scarf. It's nice and long but also wider than I normally make my scarves. This makes it perfect for keeping out the chill!Made with two skeins at once in double stitch so it's extra thick and warm.
It's made with bamboo yarn, which was pretty pricey for my tastes but actually my husband picked it out. He liked that it was from a renewable resource and was so super soft. I think it might have had more to do with that we were in Hobby Lobby for so long and he just threw the skeins in the cart because he was tired of being there. At first, I didn't care for the colors but while knitting I fell in love with them. Like I said, I almost kept this for myself!
This scarf can be purchased from my ETSY site for $30.

Bummer
I'm a little bummed out. Nothing sold on Etsy today even with a showcase on Accessories. I think I'm done using that feature for now. At this point, it hasn't helped much and it costs enough to to make me think twice before using it again without getting sales.
I plan on passing out my business cards around work and to friends. I hope that will do something. I had some great business in the beginning but I'm starting to feel like a tiny fish in one gigantic ocean.

My Favorite Scarves
Alright, these scarfs are near and dear to my heart. First off, it's the best yarn I've ever worked with. It's called Andean Silk, a merino wool, silk, and alpaca blend. It's SO soft and very lightweight but knit in a double stitch with two skeins at once so it will keep out any winter chill! I made one in a dark heather for myself! It really is my favorite scarf. I'm selling them for $28.
I'm waiting for some of these to sell before I make anymore. Last thing I want is a crazy amount of inventory and no takers! I signed them up for a showcase tomorrow. We shall see!
I'm lovin' being on Etsy and having fun creating. I'm currently working on a baby blanket for a friend. She's due beginning of next month and I should have it done this weekend. It's adorible. I'll have pics up soon hopefully.

Lil' Dude Toddler Hat
I made this fun beanie off a red circular knifty knitter knitting loom. It will fit 12 mo. to 2 years old. I'm selling it on my etsy site since it doesn't fit my three year old like I was hoping. It's tightly knit and sure to keep all the cold off you little one's ears and head.
If you like what you see but wish it was a different color, let me know and I can do my best to find what will suit your needs!
